Hemet Firefighters' Association Endorses
Chief Dave Brown for Riverside County Sheriff
The Hemet Firefighters’ Association (HFFA) has announced the membership’s support and endorsement of former Hemet Police Chief Dave Brown for Riverside County Sheriff.
“Dave Brown has served our city well for many years and we know he’ll bring experience and independent leadership to the Sheriff’s Department,” said HFFA President Dave Prieto. “Dave’s record as Hemet Police Chief is exemplary and he understands how important it is to work together tackle complex problems. His troops respect him and Chief Brown has always recognized the importance of collaboration and cooperation between the police and fire services. He has a unique ability to manage limited resources in order to keep the community safe. We know he’ll make an excellent Sheriff.”
“The HFFA played a critical role in the revitalization of our community. Hemet firefighters work selflessly every day to provide superior service and protection to our community. I am honored to have their support,” said Brown. “While serving as Police Chief, it was always my objective to work collaboratively with other public safety agencies and organizations. If elected Sheriff, I’ll continue to do just that.”
The Hemet Firefighters’ Association joins a growing list of major organizations and elected officials who have endorsed Dave Brown for Riverside County Sheriff, including Chairman of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors Chuck Washington, Supervisor John Tavaglione, Former Riverside DA Rod Pacheco, Riverside County Sheriff Robert "Bob" Doyle (Ret.), the Hemet Police Officers Association and Murrieta Police Officers Association.
